Moscow: The Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters has awarded the Ambassador of Qatar to Russia H E Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Thani the Medal of Contribution and Support of International Friendship between Firefighters and Rescuers, in recognition of his efforts in strengthening the relations between Qatar and Russia.
The ambassador received the medal during his meeting with Aleksandr Chupriyan, the First Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters.
The meeting discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
