Al Matbakh, the rooftop restaurant and grill at Arumaila Boutique Hotel, part of five-star Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels (SWBH), the luxury hotel collection owned and managed by Al Rayyan Hospitality at the heart of historic Souq Waqif, announced the launch of its new menu recently.
This coincides with the completion of the new interior design renovations of the restaurant which reflect the essence of Qatari hospitality.
“The strategy of Souq Waqif Boutique Hotel is to offer the highest levels of comfort and convenience to guests at Al Matbakh which has been a hit among Souq Waqif goers since day one,” said Taleb Al Henzab, General Manager at Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels.
The new menu, designed by Ibrahim Hamam, the Group Executive Chef, includes a diverse assortment of the best international dishes.
The choice of food on the new menu stretches to Indian Tandoor clay oven dishes such as Jumbo Shrimp, Tandoori chicken, Hammour marinated in fresh herbs, lamb Kebab skewers minced with onion and parsley, spiced lamb shank (Raan), Boti Kebab (lamb chops marinated in Tandoor spices) and Murg Malai (chicken marinated in yogurt, garlic and ginger).
Guests can always choose from Al Matbakh’s enticing bitter chocolate and cinnamon date desserts, ice cream and fruits for the grand finale.
