Doha: In a continuing effort to ensure their social responsibility and commitment towards worthy causes, the restaurant chain, Applebee’s represented by Al Jassim Group, embarked on a charitable mission this Ramadan and donated QR70,000 to Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) in support of their Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.
The restaurant chain invited QRCS to collaborate with them through their ‘Dining to Donate’ fundraiser.
It is a practical initiative that helps such organisations raise funds for causes of their choice.
The restaurant chain provided patrons with purchasing coupons during the holy month, and allocated 10 percent of the proceeds of each coupon for QRCS’s Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.
