Despite trailing by a goal early in the match, Al Shahania yesterday produced four strikes across two halves to beat hosts Al Arabi in a round 24 clash of the Qatar Stars League (QSL).
Nigerian striker Imoh Ezekiel had given Al Arabi - playing on home soil - the lead in the 6th minute but Al Shahania retained their composure to hit back with four goals over the next 84 minutes.
It was 12th-placed Al Shahania's only 3rd win of the season that ends later this month.
In just the sixth minute of the round 24 clash, Luis Jimenez - stationed inside the Al Shahania box - tapped a pass to Ezekiel who easily slotted the ball home from close range with goalkeeper Jassim Adel unable to block the move.
It was the Nigerian strikers's 6th goal of the season as the boys in red celebrated the early goal at Al Arabi Stadium
In the 12th minute, Jimenez received a long ball from the flank but after dodging his marker inside the Al Shahania box, the Chilean striker missed the target with his close-range shot.
Jassim Jaber provided some much-needed relief as the Qatari national team defender helped Al Shahania draw level with the home team.
After receiving a short tap inside the Al Arabi box, Jaber aimed for the far left of goalkeeper for his team's equaliser in 32nd minute.
In the 38th minute, Al Shahania's Mohamed Bader attempted a long-range shot from the edge of the Al Arabi box but the ball sailed above the home team's goalmouth.

With just a minute to go before the break, Al Shahania's Rahim Mehdi was quick to fire a swinging shot from just outside the edge of Al Arabi box into the top half of the net.
Just three minutes into the second half, Al Shahania jumped to a 3-1 lead.
After receiving a wobbly pass a few meters out of the Al Arabi box, substitute Fahad Khalfan - outran his marker and former Qatar national team midfielder Talal Al Balooshi - before calmly slotting the ball into the net in the 48th minute. Al Shahania's Luciano Santos Eduardo added the fourth - following a defender's gaffe from Al Arabi - in the 78th minute.
