Ministry of Interior urges caution as employees return to work in Qatar

Doha, Qatar: In light of the statement issued by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers regarding the resumption of work, the Ministry of Interior emphasized the importance of adhering to security and safety procedures at workplaces across various ministries, government and semi-government entities, as well as the private sector.

The Ministry called on everyone to exercise caution and adhere to the official instructions issued by it, including remaining in safe locations or inside buildings when an alert is issued through the National Warning System.

The Ministry further stressed the adherence to safety and security officials in various entities to raise employees’ awareness of the approved preventive guidelines and to ensure the readiness of emergency exits, evacuation routes, and safe assembly points.

In order to unify procedures and strengthen preventive awareness, the Ministry urged all entities to circulate safety guidelines to employees and ensure compliance with them. These guidelines can be accessed here

The Ministry further reminded that adherence to these guidelines promotes a safe working environment and supports public safety.
