Doha, Qatar: Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has launched its comprehensive Customer Satisfaction Survey 2026, inviting customers across the country to share their feedback on the quality of electricity and water services.
The initiative underscores Kahramaa’s continued commitment to placing customers at the centre of its decision-making process and maintaining the highest standards of service excellence.
According to the corporation, the survey will gather valuable insights into customer perceptions, measure confidence in the services provided, and help identify areas for further improvement while aligning operations with international best practices.
In a statement posted on its social media accounts yesterday, Kahramaa said the survey is being conducted over an extended period from July to November 2026. Customers can participate through face-to-face interviews at Kahramaa Service Centres or via telephonic surveys. The corporation has welcomed public participation, stressing that customers’ opinions are highly valued.
The survey covers all major customer segments and service touchpoints, reflecting Kahramaa’s broader efforts to strengthen customer experience. The corporation has consistently emphasised listening to its customers as part of its mission to provide high-quality and sustainable electricity and water for better living in Qatar.
Kahramaa has previously partnered with specialised consultancy firms to ensure the objectivity and professionalism of such surveys. Feedback collected will support the corporation in refining its service delivery, improving operational efficiency, and reinforcing public trust.
By encouraging widespread participation, Kahramaa aims to further enhance its services in line with the State of Qatar’s vision for excellence in public utilities. Customers are urged to take part and contribute their views to help shape future improvements.
It would be recalled that Kahramaa recently signed a series of contracts worth more than QR2.2bn to develop and strengthen the electricity network in the western region, as it moves to connect the Dukhan Solar Power Project to the national grid.
The deals were awarded to several qualified local and international companies, including Voltage Engineering LTD, the Best & Betas Consortium, Larsen & Toubro, and LS Cable.
The contracts fall within Kahramaa’s strategic initiatives to link the Dukhan solar plant to the network in the country’s west.
