DOHA: Qatar Career Fair (QCF) will host its fourth Education Partnership workshop this week to forge stronger ties with key educational entities in the country and offer vital opportunities for Qatari youth.

The event, part of QCF’s overall vision to promote greater career awareness amongst the youth, will take place on Wednesday at Texas A&M University at Qatar (TAMU-Q). Key representatives from Supreme Education Council, Hamad bin Khalifa University, and other higher learning institutions will attend.

The event will highlight key strategic partnership initiatives between QCF and various education establishments in Qatar. In addition, QCF will also introduce a new online career advisor training course that aims to equip and certify individuals in career guidance roles with the basic skills and essential knowledge of career advising and planning services.

Abdulla Al Mansoori, Executive Director of QCF, will highlight some of the key successes and outcomes of Qatar Career Fair 2013, while Abdulla Al Mulla, QCF’s Activities and Volunteers Officer will share key initiatives that are in the pipeline for the year.

This will be followed by an open forum discussion on best practices to strengthen ties between QCF and the educational institutions in the country.
