Education Ministry reviews achievements, initiatives for 2025

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education reviewed its achievements and initiatives for 2025 during an extensive meeting held at the Rosewood Hotel in Doha. 

The event was attended by Minister of Education and Higher Education H E Lolwah bint Rashid bin Mohammed Al Khater, Undersecretary of the Ministry H E Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi, assistant undersecretaries, department directors; a number of ministry staff; and a distinguished group of educational leaders and specialized academics, totaling over 500 participants.

In her address, the Minister welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of continuing to work with a unified team spirit, strengthening regular performance reviews to ensure sustainable development, aligning efforts with the objectives of the National Development Strategy, and achieving the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.

The meeting began with a comprehensive presentation on the performance of the Third National Development Strategy projects and the Ministry’s strategic institutional projects, delivered by the Department of Educational Planning and Policies. The presentation included key performance indicators, achievement rates, and the level of progress made in implementing priority initiatives, reflecting the alignment of efforts with the country’s developmental directions.

Additionally, 29 departments highlighted their most prominent achievements for 2025. These included the Educational Affairs Sector, Evaluation Affairs Sector, Higher Education Affairs Sector, Private Education Affairs Sector, the Shared Services Sector, and the Minister and Undersecretary Sectors. 

The presentations covered developmental projects and strategic initiatives implemented across various areas, enhancing the quality of education and reinforcing institutional integration across the Ministry’s sectors.

This meeting reflects the Ministry’s approach based on transparency and continuous evaluation, and its commitment to fostering an institutional work culture grounded in planning and impact measurement, contributing to the sustainable development of the educational system.
