RAMALLAH: Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah and the US government, represented by US Consul General Michael Ratney, signed last night a $148 million agreement to support the Palestinian Authority’s budget.
Hamdallah commended the US constant support for the Palestinians, stressing that such support contributes to the empowerment of institutions of the Palestinian state to provide basic services to Palestinians.
For his part, Ratney stressed the US commitment to support Palestinians and their national authority, and the efforts of Hamdallah and his government to the advancement of state institutions. (QNA)
