PHCC announces Eid Al-Adha holiday operating hours

Doha, Qatar: Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced the operating hours of its health centers during the Eid Al Adha holiday from May 26 to 30, with 21 of its 31 health centers remaining open to ensure the continuity of healthcare services across the country.

In a statement, PHCC said family medicine and support services will be available at 21 designated health centers, including Al Wakra, Airport, Al Mashaf, Al Thumama, Rawdat Al Khail, Al Sadd, West Bay, Leabaib, Umm Salal, Al Rayyan, Muaither, Al Khor, Al Ruwais, Al Sheehaniya and Al Wajbah. 

Al Jemailiya Health Center will operate on an on-call basis 24 hours a day.

Family medicine and support services will run daily from 7am to 11pm, while dental services will be available from 7am to 10pm Home medication delivery services will be suspended during the first two days of Eid and resume on the third day.

PHCC noted that 10 health centers will not operate during the holiday, while Al Karaana and Al Kaaban health centers will remain open for urgent cases only.

Specialized ophthalmology, dermatology and ENT clinics will continue operating at Leabaib, Rawdat Al Khail and Al Mashaf health centers according to pre-scheduled appointments, with services offered during morning and evening shifts.

Premarital screening, mental health and physiotherapy services will also remain available at selected centers on specific dates throughout the holiday period.

Meanwhile, urgent care services provided by Hamad Medical Corporation will continue around the clock at 15 health centers nationwide, while pediatric urgent care services will be available at 10 health centers, including Al Wajbah, Al Thumama, Leabaib, Muaither, Al Mashaf, Al Sadd, Al Khor and Rawdat Al Khail.

PHCC said the holiday arrangements are aimed at ensuring uninterrupted access to essential healthcare services while maintaining high standards of patient care during Eid Al Adha.
