Gaza: The death toll in the Gaza Strip has climbed to 62,686, the majority of whom are women and children, since the start of the Israeli aggression on Oct. 7, 2023, according to medical sources.
The number of injuries has also surged to 157,951, while many victims remain trapped under rubble, unreachable by emergency and civil defense teams.
Hospitals in Gaza received 64 bodies and 278 wounded individuals in the past 24 hours alone. Since March 18 when Israel reportedly violated a ceasefire agreement, an additional 10,842 people have been killed and 45,910 injured.
Medical sources also reported that 19 Palestinians were killed and 123 injured in the past 24 hours while attempting to secure food aid. This brings the total number of aid-related fatalities to 2,095 and injuries to 15,431.
Moreover, eight more deaths due to starvation and malnutrition were recorded in the past 24 hours, raising the total to 289, including 115 children.
The humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to worsen under a strict Israeli blockade imposed since March 2, 2025, compounding the effects of widespread famine and relentless bombardment that has persisted since Oct. 7, 2023.
